GHOSTDELTA

SUPPORT

GhostDelta is a precision GPS tracker for outdoor sport — mountain biking, skiing, hiking, running, motorcycling, karting and boating. It records where you went and how fast, times your Stages and Circuits, and syncs to Apple Health only when you choose.

Questions, bug reports and feature requests all welcome. I aim to reply within a few days.

To help me sort things out quickly, it's useful if you can include:

Common questions

What do Stage, Run, Circuit and Lap mean?

A Stage is a timed section of a route, and each attempt at one is a Run. A Circuit is a saved closed loop, and each time round is a Lap. Your saved Stages live together in the Stage Book.

Do I have to send my sessions to Apple Health?

No. Health sync is opt-in per session. Physical activities such as hiking, running and mountain biking sync by default, and motor-assisted activities such as karting, boating and motorcycling record locally unless you turn sync on yourself.

Where are my sessions stored?

On your Apple Watch and iPhone. Sessions recorded on the Watch transfer to the iPhone directly between your own devices. See the privacy policy for the full picture.

Why does a session need my location?

GhostDelta records your track from GPS, which is what produces speed, distance, altitude and your Stage and Lap times. Without location access there is nothing to record.

What does a purchase get me?

Unlimited session recording, available as a yearly subscription or a one-time lifetime unlock. Purchases go through the App Store and are tied to your Apple Account, so they restore on your other devices and after a reinstall.

I have an idea for a feature

Send it through. GhostDelta is developed by one person, so I read everything that comes in.
